Landscape Company Names

My mother-in-law is always looking through her Michigan newspaper, clipping out ads or articles she thinks I would find interesting or useful. I just got a batch the other day.

In it were several ads for landscaping companies. I really laughed at one of them (and I hope like heck this person isn't a member here - ). The name of the company was 'Drastic Landscaping'.

Hmmm...I'm trying to picture an appropriate logo for Drastic Landscaping. Not quite sure.....

I like that spin on the name - very slick. Unfortunately, these identity creators were not as slick.

However, if I ever meet them, I know where to send 'em.

Back when I was mowing lawns I always dreamed of starting a company called 'Lawn Clowns' - our prices are so low they'll make you laugh.

Must have been another long day

We have a company here called Killer Out Door Sports. Not the name I would choose! Hey, JW, is that a Sheltie, or a Collie, I'm big fans of both! Tim

Tim,

That's Madison, she's a 1 1/2 year old Collie. A note to other contractors looking for a dog - Collie's shed A LOT! I keep a sheet in the back seat of my truck to keep the fur from sticking to everything.

A lot of people call her with Lassie and keep asking me where Timmy is. Any idea what that's all about?

Thanks for asking.

John

Are you sure that Timmy isn't in a burning barn or maybe he has his foot caught under a 5 ton boulder?
Beautiful dog! But I still like my pug.

When I was in California I saw 3 great irrigation company names, but didn't write them down & can't remember them now But they were real good, honest (because even my wife agreed with me that they were clever names, and she could care less about stuff like that, especially on vacation on the opposite coast LOL). Just passed a pick up the other day around here that had Thinkpavers.com as the company name. I figured some here would surely like that one

Hey - interesting link - if you look at the residential scape stuff, you'll see they install edge restraint the way we used to 12+ years ago - Portland cement. Old school.

Out here in the Valley, we have a landscape maintenance company by the name of .... "A Women's Touch." It's a cool name and the work trucks are painted pink but I can't help but grin when I see all the workers are immigrants. I wonder if any guys who could read would work under that name.
